Meet our Team

Mary Ann has been a dental assistant with this practice in Vernon for many years and now she assists in our Coventry office. Her career started under the wing of a much-loved dentist in the very same Vernon office, teaching her everything she knows. Now with Drs. Hadden & Whidden taking the practice into the future, she has advanced her knowledge in the dental lab, prosthetic dentistry, implant dentistry, cosmetic reconstruction, orthodontics and sleep apnea treatments. She takes great joy in seeing her long-time patients over these many years.

Mary Ann has had training by Sleep Group Solutions - Dental Management of Sleep Apnea and Snoring. She also holds certifications in Radiology Health & Safety, Infection Control and Sterilization, and Zoom Whitening as well as certification of completion with the Kois Center - Team Approach to delivering Kois-inspired dental care.

Mary Ann was born and raised in Bolton, CT and now lives in Coventry with her firefighter husband, a proud Mom of two grown boys and Mei-mei to a beautiful granddaughter she just loves to spoil.

Mary Ann is a photographer, earning certification from the New York Institute of Photography. She loves to knit just about anything, dabbles in tatting, felting, cross stitch, sewing and wine making. Many weekends are spent with her husband renovating and enjoying their 1948 vintage camper.

Terese is a graduate from the University of New Haven, where she received a Bachelor Degree in Dental Hygiene. As one of the top three students in her class, she was inducted into the Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene Honor Society for academic excellence. Terese is also CPR and local anesthesia certified. With many years of experience, Terese enjoys educating her patients on excellent oral hygiene and believes a healthy smile is a beautiful smile! She highly values patient education, infection control, and staying current in the changes of dental science and technology.

Terese has lived in Connecticut her entire life and loves each season it brings. Native to Niantic, she spends summer days at the beach. She also enjoys hiking at the state parks with her family, practicing yoga and watching movies.

Jennifer has been working with Drs. Hadden and Whidden since the Spring of 2022. She graduated from Western CT State University with a Bachelor's degree in Communications and an Associate's degree in Justice and Law Administration. However, she has always had a passion for health and wellness. Jennifer works in our administrative department answering phones, scheduling appointments, treatment planning, sending and receiving pre-treatment estimates and answering patient questions. She has a heart for customer service and head for business.
During her time off, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She also enjoys staying active and loves being outdoors. Jennifer is an avid jogger, hiker and respects the art of yoga. She believes life in balance is what's best for the mind, body and spirit.

Ana is a graduate of the University of New Haven. Ana was President of her graduating dental hygiene class and was inducted into Sigma Phi Alpha and TriBeta Biological Honor Society. She graduated with her Bachelor's in Science. Ana is also certified in local anesthesia and holds a CPR & BLS certification.

Ana's passion is educating and making patients feel comfortable at their appointment. Providing the highest standard of care and experience for her patients is paramount.

Ana spends her free time traveling, hiking, and painting. Ana also enjoys reading, two of her favorite writers are Stephen King and Margaret Atwood. At home, Ana has a Tuxedo cat named Blueberry and a Boxer/American Bulldog named Hocus.

Pamela joined our team in 2017. 
Pamela is often the first and last person our patients see when they come in the door, so she strives to make everyone's day the best it can be. She enjoys the social aspects of her job as well as developing lasting relationships with our patients & making everyone smile. Pamela graduated from Keane University with a degree in Psychology. She knew at a very young age she wanted to be in the hospitality field. When not working, you can find her at the beach, traveling, photographing nature, laughing at her Corgis, cheering on the Yankees and Phillies or helping people at church.

Our hygienist, Johnathan, is originally from Venezuela. He has a beautiful wife and daughter who are his life. Dental hygiene is his second career, he began as a home renovations contractor.  Johnathan enjoys educating his patients to achieve good health and make people smile.  He hopes to create a wonderful experience for patients. His hobbies include kayaking, hiking, biking, and having a good time with friends. In addition, he enjoys reading poetry, red wine, and upbeat music.

Claudia graduated from the University of New Haven with an Associate's and Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. She achieved High Honors for her Associate's degree and Cum Laude for her Bachelor's degree. Claudia is also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and Tribeta Honor Society. Claudia is CPR & BLS certified as well as local anesthesia certified for the state of CT. Claudia is also employed with the CT Dental Health Partnership group. She educates HUSKY pediatricians on oral assessments and fluoride application for their patients.

Claudia commits to building positive and trusting relationships with her patients. She looks forward to seeing them at their scheduled appointments and recall visits. Claudia's thoughtful and caring personality makes her patients and team members feel relaxed and comfortable.

Claudia is a Wethersfield native, now moved to the east side of the Charter Oak Bridge. She enjoys reading books and relaxing in the sun as well as walking on the Rails-To-Trails.

Dianne has been in the dental administrative field for almost half her life. She enjoys working with each team member and loves interacting with our patients. Dianne has had several years of training in this, her chosen field, and is very proud of her accomplishments.
Dianne has two adult children: Erika and Nathan, four grandchildren and 5 grand-dogs. All of whom she loves very much. She loves to cook and travel, golf and read. She also enjoys watching/following the French hip hop dance duo, Les Twins, on social media.

Gifty joined our team in 2019.

Gifty comes with many years of dental experience, giving her a well-rounded understanding of clinical and non-clinical issues. This is an asset to our practice. She is always willing and ready to answer all your insurance, billing and office questions.

Gifty also has a degree in English Literature and enjoys the finer things in life. On her free time, she enjoys watching crime/detective shows and volunteering at her church.

Norma has been in the dental field for more than 25 years. She began her career as a front desk administrator, transitioning over the years into a clinical role. Norma has achieved her Certified Dental Assistant certification in the year 2001. She has completed numerous advanced courses in dental education, including, esthetics, communication, and team building. Norma has extensive training in cosmetic, full mouth reconstructive cases including but not limited to implants, crowns, veneers, bridges, and orthodontics.

Norma has a passion for patient education, team building, and community involvement. Norma coordinates purchases for the office and introduces systems and protocols.

She is also our "go-to" assistant when we have new staff members join our team.  She values close relationships created with patients and co-workers, bringing positivity and experience to daily tasks.

Norma grew up along the East coast, as her father served in the Navy. Norma enjoys being outdoors, at the beach, exercise, boating and traveling. Most of all, spending time with family and friends. She has 3 sons, who now have wonderful families of their own. She is also a proud "Mim" to her grandchildren. Norma looks forward to seeing you in the office soon!

Stephanie is a graduate of Porter and Chester Institute with a certification in Dental Assisting. Here at Drs. Hadden, Whidden and Wiegard, Stephanie is a chair-side assistant. Stephanie's goal is to ensure her patients are greeted warmly and their entire experience with her and their doctor are as enjoyable as possible. Along with this, Stephanie is a team player and always taking on new tasks and learning.

Stephanie has two daughters, Audrina and Angelique, as well as their dog "Ruby". In her free time, they enjoy baking, movie nights, going for hikes, and taking trips to the beach. Stephanie and her family also cherish visiting her parents and grandparents.

Annette was born in Jamaica West Indies and grew up in Brooklyn, New York. After graduating high school, she chose to pursue a career in the dental industry as a Dental Assistant. Annette enrolled in a program conducted by Youth Service Corp Dental Assistant at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York. Upon graduating, she interned at Kings County Hospital Dental Center. She enjoys assisting in orthodontics, veneers, crowns and bridges, and placement of implants. Having over three decades of knowledge and practical experience as a Dental Assistant gives her a wealth of knowledge and skills. Annette enjoys working with patients and making them feel at ease at each and every visit. In her spare time, she loves to read and spend time with family.

Debbie grew up in Bolton and now resides in South Windsor, Debbie graduated from Mount Ida College in 2004 with an Associate's in Dental Hygiene. She is passionate about her job and all of her patients. Debbie married her high school sweetheart with whom she has three beautiful children. They love traveling as a family and exploring new places. Debbie enjoys good food, delicious wine and most of all, great company!

Debbie has been in the dental front office administrative field for over 25 years. She loves to build relationships with patients and helping them in any questions or concerns they may have. On her free time, she loves spending time with her grandchildren, camping, herbing, gardening, and reading a good book. She also loves to spoil her cat, Oliver.
